In a new Buzzfeed video, a cheap coffee review is given for a number of brands by a coffee connoisseur. Wes Johansen tastes coffee from Folgers, 7 Eleven, McDonalds, Maxwell House, Denny's, Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts and rates it using a 5 star system.

The expert reviews coffee from a combination of restaurants and inexpensive brands sold at grocery stores. While some fare fairly well, receiving up to 4 stars out of 5, others fail abysmally. One in particular got only 3/4 of a star. With descriptions such as 'dirty asphalt' and 'notes of soggy wheat cereal' Buzzfeed's cheap coffee review video is definitely worth watching before you try coffee from your local fast food restaurant or convenience store.
