When thinking of the Canadian national anthem and its terms "True North, Strong and Free," The Petition Site user Jazz Cartier collates them to Canadian rapper Drake. Cartier recently started a petition for the national anthem to be replaced in homage to the rap star with his hit song 'Started from the Bottom.'
The head petitioner has already received over 200 signatures supporting his movement and he wants to receive 800 more. He started the petition because he believes that Drake's caliber of talent should be nationally recognized.
Maybe if there was a gravitational shift in the earth's plates the song would be more appropriate for Canada, but seeing as it is a northern country already, it has never actually "started from the bottom."
