These images taken by photographer Calder Wilson come of an experimental project. The Florida-based creative strapped fireworks to a drone that was sent off into the air. The resulting snapshots captured movement and bright pops of light in varying directions.
Whether in a zig zag or crisscross formation, chaotic stripes of color are present throughout this Wilson series. A neon scheme came of the explosions that were done in a highly isolated area.
The unusual patterns present here speak to Wilson's talent as an artist. While this done-specific approach to photography is new and emerging, he was nonetheless able to put together this collection of images that feature expert details. Viewers will certainly be taken with the display of electric purples, reds and greens.
