This example of bar design also provides a window into the legendary Budapest nightlife. Designed in a unique collaboration between by 81Font and Studio Arkitekter, the eclectic snack bar is located in the orthodox Jewish community of Budapest and features a stunning ceiling and impressive menu of Middle Eastern cuisine.
Described by the architects as an "open-minded" space, the MazelTov bar is a cultural venue in addition to being a dining and drinking concept. With a design scheme that encourages togetherness and interaction between guests, the bar isn't as wild as much of the other Budapest nightlife options, and in that sense is a pretty great change of pace. With long communal tables and dishes like shakshuka and hummus, the MazelTov bar is a must-try in Budapest.
