This extravagantly lavish bar is located in the Śródmieście Południowe neighborhood of Warsaw, Poland. The design, however, borrows the heavily patterned and highly lush aesthetics of Morrocan culture as a series of culturally infused carpets adorn the walls of the interior. In addition, the luxurious vibe is accented by the brass motifs that offer an agreeable juxtaposition.
The Morrocan carpets have an interesting origin story that ties into familial values. The rugs once belonged to the owner of the cocktail bar's grandmother, therefore, informing an artistic impulse in Kacper Gronkiewicz -- the local architect who was commissioned to devise an alluring identity for the business.
The lavish bar goes by the name 'Aura' -- the title ties into the "Latin term for gold, aurum."
