Bolon's New Collection Looks Like Hanging Artichokes
Marissa Liu — February 28, 2010 — Art & Design
Bolon's new Botanic floor coverings are a collection of vinyl flowers that also look like large, hanging artichokes. The flowers were created by Form Us WIth Love using the floor coverings.
Shown at the Stockholm Furniture Fair, the Botanic floor coverings are made of sound-absorbing, fire- and slip-resistant materials. The flower looks more like a light fixture than a floor covering, but I doubt, given the material, if you placed a bulb inside much illumination would be produced.
