Designers Lee Hye Jung, Kim Byung Soo, Chae Ju Eun and Kim Bo Mi designed the 'IBB Blood Transfusion Packs' in order to reduce medical mistakes. The stylish bags were built to replace traditional blood packs that are not labeled very clearly. IBB Packs were created with built-in labeling that eliminates the possibility of grabbing the wrong type of blood.
Large transparent letters were printed on the front of blood bags in order to indicate the type of blood within. Since the rest of the bag is translucent, the transparent lettering really stands out. The label's transparency also has the side benefit of giving the lettering a dark red hue when the bag contains blood. As a result, the label acts a status bar as blood is slowly used.
