Blank Studio has come up with this suspended structure called the 'House of Writing' after entering a competition to build a cabin fit for an artist. Instead of choosing a spacious design, the team came up with something a bit more compact, and definitely distinct.
The cabin is suspended from a roof, held up by beams that surround the building. Overall, the look of the columns are meant to represent a forest of sorts, with the overhead area resembling a canopy. Considering that nature has been proven to help people with relaxation and inspiration, this entire setup works well for helping a writer's mental state. The office also offers up views of the surrounding area of the Swiss countryside, again adding to this feeling of calmness about the place.
