The Bird Bros Roost Eggs are a line of eggs from the brand with its Vision 2028 strategy in mind to provide consumers and brands alike with a new option. The eggs are laid by hens in large, climate-controlled sheds where they are allowed to roam freely for socializing and perching to better increase their comfort as well as their welfare. The eggs will launch in retail packs of six and 12 to start with five and 15-dozen packs being launched for the foodservice industry.
Commercial Director Matthew Bird spoke on the new Bird Bros Roost Eggs saying, "As we announced earlier this year in our Vision 2028 strategy, we’re committed to ending our colony cage production and focus on a higher welfare environment for our hens. We’re aware that many consumers are looking for a value egg that provides better hen welfare, and we believe that a barn egg is the ideal solution for the future."
