Faradair's Bio-Electric-Hybrid-Aircraft Concept is Environmentally Friendly
Rahul Kalvapalle — November 28, 2014 — Tech
The Faradair BEHA (Bio-Electric-Hybrid-Aircraft) is a concept aircraft that, if it comes to reality, will become the world's first actual hybrid aircraft. This aircraft is equipped with a variety of energy conservation and recovery technologies including but not limited to solar panels on all the flight surfaces, in addition to low-speed high-lift flight capabilities.
The Bio-Electric-Hybrid-Aircraft also has an incredible safety feature -- the aircraft is fitted with a remote control system that allows it to be flown and landed remotely. This could be used in situations where something happens to the pilot and he is unable to fly the plane.
Faradair is currently running a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds to better refine specifications and fabrication processes.
