American aerospace giant Airbus teamed up with French companies Daher and Safran to develop the 'EcoPulse,' a demonstrator aircraft that aims to showcase the latest in hybrid-electric air travel technologies and which recently completed a successful test flight that lasted some 100 minutes.
The 'EcoPulse' demonstrator aircraft is equipped with a six propellers, each of which is powered by a 50-kW engine that is in turn juiced up by a battery pack that utilizes high-density batteries.
