Some cities are better for cyclists than others, which is why this Amsterdam-based service uses crowdsourced bicycle couriers to deliver various goods. The TringTring app will deliver food, shopping and other packages in less than an hour to both businesses and individuals.
Dutch companies in the area can link their online store to the TringTring platform so their customers can request delivery by bike. Anyone can sign up to be a bicycle courier as well, and get paid EUR 5 a job. Whenever a request is placed, Tringers nearby receive a notification. If they can do it in 60 minutes or less, they nominate themselves. Then all relevant information is passed on and payment is processed in-app.
TringTring is currently in beta mode.
