With the growing demand for plant-based protein options, Don Lee Farms has just debuted its new plant-based 'Better Than Beef Burger.' Much like products from Beyond Meat and Impossible Foods, the new burger gives consumers a plant-based alternative to ground beef patties.
According to Don Lee Farms, the new Better Than Beef Burger was designed “to fill a void for a nutritious and satisfying beef alternative in the plant-based burger market." With that mission in mind, the company developed a non-GMO, plant-based burger patty that is completely vegan and gluten-free. The new patties not only mimick the texture and flavor of meat, but they also are the lowest in calories, fat, and saturated fat of the plant-based patties available on the market.
The new patties come in packages of two quarter-pound burgers, and are available from national retailers such as Costco and HEB.
