The 'Beetnik' is Byron's First Vegan-Friendly Burger Option

In order to better cater to the growingly diverse food scene in the UK, British restaurant chain Byron launched its first-ever vegan burger, dubbed the 'Beetnik.' The new plant-based burger patty takes the form of a beet-based falafel, which is topped with baby kale, smashed avocado and a lime-dressed rainbow slaw, as well as colorful items like tomato, pickled red onions and red pepper ketchup that all serve to add flavor and accent the color of the patty.
Prior to the launch of the Beetnik burger, the vegan-friendly options at Byron were limited to just fries, a house salad and tortilla chips.
