As more consumers follow a plant-based lifestyle, Burger King UK is meeting consumer demand with the launch of its new Vegan Society-certified Vegan Royale burger. The new menu item is a plant-based version of its signature chicken burger with cutting-edge ingredients that mimic the texture and taste of the original item.
According to Soco Nunez, Marketing Director of Burger King UK®, the company has “purposefully taken our time with the Vegan Royale to make sure it’s the best on the market. In fact, we would go as far as to say it’s an identical taste experience to the original Chicken Royale.” To create the plant-powered burger, Burger King UK joined forces with The Vegetarian Butcher to leverage its crispy coated, plant-based chicken burgers.
Fans can now purchase the Vegan Royale with fries and any soft drink for £6.79.
