Laura McQuarrie — May 12, 2018 — Lifestyle
In celebration of National Vegetarian Week, hand-dipped donut creator Doughnut Time is introducing a limited-edition vegan treat prepared with a decadent Baileys Almande glaze. The Baileys Almande x Doughnut Time creation comes topped with freeze-dried nuts and colorful fruit pieces, and it will only be available for just a week at the chain's locations in London.
Bailey's first launched its Almande Almondmilk Liqueur in 2016 as an alternative almond milk-based liqueur and one of the few non-cream liqueurs available on the market.
For National Vegetarian Week, Doughnut Time is also offering a handful of other vegan-friendly treats, including a brownie-topped donut, donuts filled with plum jam and even a "freakshake" beverage made with the almond milk liqueur that is decadently topped with the collaborative Baileys Almande x Doughnut Time donut.
