Three new 'Veggie Fusion' guacamole products from Sabra are designed at spotlighting the healthy fat contents of avocado dip products. The South-Western, Garden Vegetable and Mango Lime dips are a blend of both avocados and assorted vegetables, promising "30% less fat." While most consumers know that guacamole contains the good kind of fats from avocados, a high fat content remains a factor that prevents many consumers from indulging in the flavorful avocado dip.
As well as appealing to health-conscious consumers in general, these new products are anticipated to be well-received by Millennials who crave more variety from the guacamole category.
In support of these new products, Sabra Canada will be giving away 400,000 samples at grocery stores, as well as LCBO locations alongside beer and alcohol pairings.
