Pai Technology introduced the Augie, a small robot designed to code with augmented reality technology incorporated as well. Augie was developed specially for introducing the coding language to children, whilst encouraging imagination. It assists children in pushing themselves to enhance their own problem-solving skills and critical thought processes. Augie allows users to design their own immersive games with unique missions and obstacles crafted with augmented reality. Augie was also programmed with five modes of play -- these factors improve logic and hand-eye coordination through play patterns measured by artificial intelligence and robotic technology.
In addition to Augie itself, the system also comes with a free 3D teaching app comprised of 60 tutorials about augmented reality to assist children in understanding basic coding concepts, as well as sequencing and variables.
