This gorgeous art from books by Su Blackwell literally sculpt the words from the pages into telling the story.
Her creations bring entire castles, trees and miniature paper people from the pages of books to life. Some of the most recognizable scenes Blackwell has recreated in paper include those from Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood, Alice in Wonderland and the landscapes of Narnia. Some of her paper creations are even illuminated to give them even more depth and interesting shadows. Even though some books are sacrificed in the process, Blackwell's book art creations are more beautiful than they are destructive.
As well as these fantastical pieces of book art, Blackwell has completed a number of commercial projects, as part of spreads for well-known clients like Oprah Magazine and the British Airways.
