Facebook is currently suspending approvals for its AR effects during the outbreak of the coronavirus. The AR effects are used by content creators in order to produce assets for social media platforms like Instagram. The tools can still be used by creators on Facebook's Spark AR Hub, and they can submit content for future approval. However, Facebook has recently sent its contractors home, which means no new approvals can be made. Facebook has not indicated when approvals will begin to be made again.
