EA Games Announces the Third-Annual Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS)

EA Games, also known as the publisher of Apex Legends, has announced that the third-annual Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) will take place in summer 2023. EA has also confirmed that players will be able to return to LAN tournaments in addition to new regional finals and updates to the Challenger Circuit. When it comes to prizing, EA will be offering $5 million to the winner of the ALGS Pro League.
The ALGS Pro League, where professional Apex Legends teams will participate, and the Challenger Circuit, for semi-professional teams, will make up the two tiers of the next season. Three LAN events will be held as part of the competition. Early in 2023, the Split 1 Playoffs, the first LAN of the year, will take place, followed by the Split 2 Playoffs in the spring. The largest Apex Legends LAN of the season, the Year 3 Championship, is slated to take place in the summer of 2023.
