From Modular Soundbar Collections to Palm-Sized Desktop PCs
Colin Smith — October 29, 2022 — Art & Design
From next-generation computer components to innovative peripherals, this list of October 2022 computers trends showcases the continued push toward improved efficiency, unique designs, and improved convenience in the computer space.
One of the most innovative releases this month is the 'Xeneon Flex' monitor from Corsair. This is the first fully bendable desktop display to reach the market. The monitor leverages bendable OLED technology commonly found in mobile phones and billboard displays. However, this monitor has a 240hz refresh rate, a 1440p resolution, and perfect contrast ratios, meaning it does not compromise on quality in favor of being bendable.
On the computer components side, COLORFUL launched its inaugural range of NVIDIA 40-series GPUs. The 'Neptune Series' GPU in this collection features stock closed-loop water-cooling with a large heatsink and a triple-fan radiator sold ready-to-go. This is a unique push in the GPU industry as the newer cards require much more capable cooling systems.
