An anonymous German street art collective called 'Mentalgassi' have teamed up with creatives Lisa Jelliffe and Kirsten Rutherford to create art installations on fences for Amnesty International.
The bar-bound billboards highlight the case of Troy Davis, a man who has been on death row for 19 years in the USA, despite the serious doubts in regards to his conviction. The posters are displayed on fence railings, enabling you to only see Troy’s face when you approach the gate from the side. A plaque on the fence directs passers-by to a site where they can sign a petition to stop Troy’s execution.
