The surge of criminal concepts has confirmed the common infatuation with crime scene investigations. Television shows like CSI: Miami have furthered the criminal culture, and while this has not necessarily resulted in more illegal activity, it has sparked interest in the subject. Fashion designers, photographers and technology developers are only some of the professionals who have made use of the dark theme, consistently incorporating blood, guts and all things gore.
The rhetoric surrounding the criminal field is vast. Many dispute official police tactics, while others argue that there isn’t enough of them. No matter which side of the coin one aligns with, however, a certain allure has always been attached to corrupt cases, especially when tied to the celebrity crowd. These criminal concepts all cater to this allure, furthering a crooked niche market.
