Yu Nagaba and Converse Launch a Set of Chuck Taylor All Star Highs
Artist Yu Nagaba works in collaboration with Converse Japan on a new set of Chuck Taylor All Star High sneaker models. There are details across the shoes that are done by hand from the artist and is set to join the brand's ongoing US Originator series.
This series is meant to recreate retro Converse styles that are true to the original form. One of the shoes is black with white detailing and the second shoe is white with black detailing. Both iterations have a full canvas makeup for the upper and marked with metallic eyelets in a stark silver hue. It starts with the medial collar where the All-Star patch can be found in a hand-drawn style.
