There may be come progressive countries out there when it comes to the workplace, yet Agent, a British marketing agency, is not necessarily found in one. That hasn't stopped it from experimenting with traditional hours by introducing a six hour day place of the more common eight. Interestingly, Fast Co Exist writes, "It's still in business—and employees are happier than ever."
Located specifically in Liverpool, Agent goes beyond the hours to also include such well-being programs as yoga classes, daily meditation sessions and monthly massages. Paul Corcoran, managing director at Agent, says, "If I finish a bit earlier, I've got loads of time to do life admin things like going to the bank that I don't normally have time to do. Or just being at home, I have time to pick up a book. What that does is it allows you to go in the next day so much more refreshed."
