When you first look at these ads with birds and bees, you get the feel of innocence and wonder; then you really see what’s going on, and are caught off guard from their actions. It shocks the senses and definitely registers an impact.
Evidently that’s the purpose of these print ads from Uncle Grey for a sex shop in Denmark, with an appropriate name: Lust.
For me, I kept wanting to look at the pictures like I would with a wildlife illustrator, and every time, of course, your eyes are drawn back to those dirty little buggers.
While recognizing the art quality, I just couldn’t get into these prints. It was too hard to move from the feel of Audubon to the subject matter.
