3D printing company Kwambio is setting itself apart from others in the additive manufacturing industry by setting up an eco-friendly factory in the Ukraine that specializes in the creation of 3D-printed ceramic materials.
After months of refining its technique for printing porcelain with a ceramic powder, Kwambio is now accepting B2B and customer orders through its marketplace. Those who wish to place an order through the factory will have the opportunity to choose from between a wide range of colors and glazing options. In total, it takes about two weeks for a 3D-printed ceramic design to be created, although Kwambio says: "the team accepts any kind of sketch, even if the product is designed on a bar napkin."
Once completed, the finished 3D-printed pieces are safe for use in the oven and dishwasher.
