Matter is an impressive 3D photo app where you can seamlessly add 3D objects to your photos. This ranges from complex geometric shapes to architecture, which can be modified to be more transparent, refractive or transluscent. On top of this, the app also lets you add shadows in real-time in order to make the additions seem like they are naturally a part of the photo's original composition.
As well as still photos, the Matter app helps you to create video files, which show the 3D objects spinning, pulsing or hovering in a photo. As part of the launch for the app, it was sent to a number of artists and when the creations were uploaded online, they generated a ton of buzz because no one seemed to know how these awesome images were created.
