EyesMap is a 3D design tablet from Spanish startup E-Capture R&D that's equipped with 3D sensing tools to make the jobs of civil engineers, architects and surveyors easier.
The EyesMap tablet has two rear 13MP cameras, a depth sensor and a GPS to measure coordinates, volumes and surfaces in real-time. What makes the tablet so impressive is that it's able to scan a photogrammetric picture with millions of dots in about two minutes. In terms of the kind of power that backs this tablet, it runs on Windows and makes use of Intel's 4th generation i7 processor, with 16 GB of RAM. The device is like a hybrid of many standalone instruments used for surveying, but it condenses these tools into one neat and easy-to-carry tablet.
