Created by Italian designer Fabio Novembre for Italy-based furniture manufacturer Driade, the 36h and 56h Chairs are inspired by old traditions. Novembre writes on his website, "One of my earliest memories dates back to when my grandmother prepared the homemade pasta. We were ecstatic by the ritual she staged: the wisdom of the dough, the homogeneous leveled mass, the domestication of the surfaces." It is this tradition and ritual that he instills in his two chair designs, one of which is more curvaceous than the other.
