The Huma Chair Adds Rustic Sophistication to the Home or Office
Josh Thompson-Persaud — May 4, 2021 — Art & Design
The Huma Chair, designed by Mario Ruiz for Spanish furniture brand Expormim, adds a dash of character to home and office spaces with its rustic-inspired construction. The curved-shell backrest design makes the construction stand out while maintaining its comfortable function. The highly versatile chair offers two backrest options, a ribbed rattan style and a comfy cushioned style, both of which have a warm, inviting look to them.
The Huma Chair has a total of ten variants that vary in base and material. The bases come in two stationary swiveled models, a rolling swiveled model, and two four-legged models–one wooden and the other steel. The Huma Chair comes in several colors ranging from a bright yellow-beige to a more conservative office gray.
