From Underground Theme Parks to Recycled Recreational Parks
Laura McQuarrie — June 30, 2014 — Life-Stages
Now that it's summer and the perfect weather to get outside, theme parks for kids will be seeing a ton of activity. Even though amusement and theme parks stay mostly the same year after year, part of the fun is being able to go back and experience the same ride or activity time and time again. However, when a new ride pops up, it can be just as thrilling and reason enough to entice families to spend a day at the park.
Some of the newest rides and attractions in 2014 include the Ratatouille adventure at the Walt Disney Studios Park in France, which makes visitors feel as if they've been shrunk to rodent size, and the June 14th opening of the highly-anticipated Diggerland USA construction theme park, which first became immensely popular in Germany.
