From Mission-Driven Craft Breweries to Resident-Run Shops

Sustainable beer innovations range from organic breweries to eco-friendly bottles. There are also more holistic examples here, for instance, Barford Village is a shop based in the United Kingdom (Barford, Warwickshire) that is run by its residents and operates as a sort of collective and sells a variety of local foods (and not simply alcohol).
SABMiller appears on this list of sustainable beer innovations a few times. Especially since it launched its Impala a year an a half ago, the company has been trying to brand itself as people and environmentally minded, which has included other forms of collaboration, for instance, with Accra Brewery, who wrote a blog post for Business Fights Poverty earlier this year on the venture and its social impacts.
