Armida Ascano — December 27, 2012 — Tech
As was the case in many other industries this year, science trends of 2012 leaned more towards technology than they did before. Such products as storm-locating apps and augmented reality lenses led the way in the digital science world, making everyday life easier while taking humanity one step closer to the future depicted in shows like The Jetsons.
An array of interesting and lighthearted scientific finds presented themselves in 2012 as well; things like non-melting chocolate and phone call-responding tattoos may not be in the history textbooks of the 3000s (or will they?), but they do bring science to industries, and thus consumers, that would otherwise be unconcerned.
