Thanks to the Internet age, there are countless online resources for tweens that have the potential to revolutionize the process of growing up. Whether in regards to dealing with social issues they may be facing or in order to provide educational content that supplements a tween's classroom curriculum, there are countless examples of dynamic online resources that are safe and positive.
While social media may get a bad rap, there are several tween-safe networks that offer parents peace of mind. Additionally, technological and research skills encouraged by Internet access will only grow more important to young people as they age.
Given that today's tweens (better known as 'Gen Z') are the first true digital natives, dynamic web-based resources will be an increasingly important tool in a young person's social development.
