A Look at the Red Bull Stratos Space Jump & Other Crazy Stunts
Trenton Millar — October 15, 2012 — Marketing
Whether you have been here on planet Earth, or somewhere in outer space, you must have heard of the Red Bull Stratos Space Jump. Red Bull sent Felix Baumgartner up to the very edge of what can be considered our planet, and then Felix jumped! He descended towards Earth, reaching over 1,000 km/h, and landed safely.
Red Bull is no stranger to the world of extreme sports and crazy stunts. The company also sponsors other athletic spectacles, like its very own invention, downhill ice skating racing.
Seeing what is humanly possible makes people aspire to be more than they are today. Some may think that breaking the record for the highest free fall is a waste, but I think that the inspiration that it provides people is worth every penny.
