From Motion-Filled Matchmaking Apps to Insta-Dating Apps

There are a number of new mobile dating apps that are taking the advice of the age-old adage advising that "a picture is worth a thousand words."
Whether or not people like to acknowledge it, physical attraction does play an important part of finding a mate, especially online. One particularly interesting dating app that reverses this thinking is 'Twine Canvas,' which has users lead with a collage of up to five images to showing off a sampling of their interests, instead of presenting a picture of themselves first. The Glimpse dating app—that is connected to Instagram takes a similar approach.
These visual-based apps put more emphasis on pictures, which also makes it easier for people because they won’t have to take any more time to take a perfect headshot or craft a perfectly written profile.
