JBL Launched Four New Soundbars with Removable Speakers

JBL announced a new collection of soundbars titled the 'JBL Bar' collection. The JBL Bar lineup includes the 'Bar 1000,' 'Bar 800,' 'Bar 500,' and 'Bar 300.' Each model features a different set of features with an adjusted MSRP to match.
The flagship release, the JBL Bar 1000, boasts 11.1-channel Dolby Atmos 3D sound with full support for 3D surround sound. This model features upward-firing speakers, and a peak power output of 880W, meaning this is an ultra-powerful home speaker, especially given its form factor.
Going down from the flagship, JBL's 800 model features fewer channels and lacks Dolby Atmos 3D support. The Bar 500 reduces its cost by leveraging 'Multibeam' technology rather than using upward-firing speakers, which essentially creates a simulated 3D audio. Additionally, the Bar 500 has a wireless subwoofer.
The Bar 300, the most affordable model, features Multibeam technology and a built-in subwoofer, making this a barebones, easy-to-use soundbar for most customers.
The Bar 300 retails for $399 USD, and the prices increase incrementally up to the Bar 1000 retailing for $1,149 USD.
