From Sophisticated Seaside Fashion to Prim Pastel Editorials

These May 2014 Fashion trends officially welcome one's warm weather wardrobe. This spring season is all about blushing pastel hues, flirty fringe embellishments and hippie-inspired outfits. With music festivals officially underway -- thanks to Coachella kicking things off earlier in April -- men and women are ditching their jackets and scarves for more carefree, lightweight and skin-baring ensembles.
Keeping its momentum from last year's sunny seasons, the relaxed bohemian style is back in full force. We see this reflected in the 'Ethno Glam' editorial featured in Vogue Germany's May issue and the 'Bohemian Rhapsody' feature in Vogue UK's April issue. Vibrant, flowing garments are worn by relaxed models in exotic locations.
Also making a rare appearance for the spring and summer season is gothic-inspired style. Despite the rising temperatures, this look is maintaining its popularity going into warmer months. Editorials in both W Magazine and Vogue Australia are proof of this.
