To stay relevant to consumers, tech companies must come up with innovative operating systems as often as possible to stay in the highly competitive field.
Due to the Apple iWatch and Samsung Galaxy Gear, Google is set to also release a smartwatch that allows you to see emails and texts right on your wrist. The switch to smarwatches is for the convenience of the consumer so they don’t have to constantly take out their phone for updates. This is also a lot safer for people as an alternative to illegally using their phones while driving.
Interface systems has even found its way into the food industry. For example, there is now a facial recognition vending machine that will actually remember customers and personalize their purchases. This vending machine uses an app called Sap Hana on a smartphone that keeps track of previous purchases made.
