From Disco-Dancing Robots to Smelly Emotional Robots

Although we are making leaps and bounds in regards to robotic technology, I can’t help but note that there are still many cartoonish robots being produced. I admit, some of the robots in this cluster are actually cartoons while others are based on cartoons, but there are many that simply look cartoonish.
I understand that these creators are probably more concerned with the technology behind them rather than their looks, but sooner rather than later, these cartoonish robots will no longer exist. That is my prediction.
