From Air Jordans to LeBron James Basketball Kicks
Thomas Wade-West — September 24, 2013 — Fashion
As basketball season starts, fans analyze athletes from their skill set all the way down to their choice in basketball kicks. Michael Jordan's 'Air Jordan' signature line has become iconic, and as of recent, the superstars of today are catching some of the limelight.
While Jordans are more often than not on the court (and on the streets,) other players sport anything from Penny Hardaway Foamposites to Kobe's to Lebrons. These kicks are, first and foremost, performance sneakers for the purpose of playing the sport of basketball, but that's not to say that they aren't also aesthetically pleasing. Most basketball kicks have a hybrid transformative-like ability to function as fashion pieces too.
From retro kicks from the 1980s to the 2013 Lebron XI's, most of these basketball kicks will be on court at some point this 2013 season.
