Custom shoe designer Mache puts a new spin on his Nerf Lebron X design by making the shoes resemble the outdoor squishy football.
Mache uses the fun-loving bright colors associated with the foam ball to bring vibrant athleticism to the shoe silhouette. Gray and purple blend together on the nylon of the shoes coated with a reflective sheen. The sole uses a red-orange color palette that circles around the heel. On the back of the footwear is the Nerf logo, resting on one of the triangular grooves.
The Nerf Lebron X sneakers were inspired by the Nike Zoom KD IV, which didn’t spark a lot of buzz. Mache’s design incorporates more of the Nerf details than the KD’s were able to.
