From Sticker Makeup Editorials to Shimmering Freckle Makeup

From bejeweled runway masks to sticker-adorned runway looks, these examples of adventurous beauty looks highlight the obsession with childhood-inspired design elements able to be observed in high fashion.
Presented last September, the beauty looks at the Givenchy Spring Summer 2016 show featured what looked like delicately bejeweled face masks, but in actuality, the looks were a result of meticulous work on the part of makeup artist Pat McGrath. McGrath used a selection of lace, beads and other embellishments, all in neutral tones and glued on one piece at a time, to create the look of masks.
Presented at Amsterdam Fashion Week, the latest collection by designer Esther Haamke was complemented by adventurous beauty looks that featured models' faces adorned in playful stickers.
