World of Whisky is a new destination in Calgary, Alberta for everything whisky and exclusive products.
This is a new venture from Co-op Wine Spirits Beer, which found that it would benefit with a curated selection of whisky products for enthusiasts. In total, there are more than 700 products available, ranging from affordable to high-end premium selections.
With the rise of niche culinary interests, menus, restaurants, as well as food and beverage shops are putting a focus on a single ingredient or item. Other than the World of Whisky, examples of this can be seen in retail outlets that specialize in just mustard or olive oil products. Earlier this year, Portobello Road Gin opened what's now considered the first gin hotel.
