These limited-edition collections of wood movie posters are created by an artist who goes by the name Spacewolf. To achieve the extremely complex posters, the artist laser-cuts planks of cherry hardwood that is oiled by hand. The laser allows each poster to have burnt shades and textures, while also providing a 3D illusion.
The Brooklyn-based creative etches posters in the likes of famous movies—some of which include Frankenstein, Godzilla and Alien. He even includes popular TV show depictions, like his Game of Thrones posters.
Each poster only comes in an edition of 50, so you better snatch one up fast because once it's sold out it will be gone for good. The artist’s practice is also eco-friendly because after each wood item is sold, he "replaces" it by personally planting a tree.
