Warren Buffet may not be the first person to be the subject of priceless artwork, he’s no George Costanza, after all. But recently, a painting of Buffet sold for $100,000 on eBay, with the proceeds going to Girls Inc of Omaha.
The buyer, John L. Morgan, says he bought a stock tip from Buffet a few years back that turned out to be successful. The tip was on the nonprofit organization co-founded by Buffet’s wife, Susan.
The organization is called Girls Inc, and thanks to the Buffets’ daughter, Susie, the proceeds are going to the NPO which teaches girls things like how to perform in a play and how to balance a checkbook.
