To bolster its community-based, member-first, open metaverse strategy, Adidas Originals debuted a collection of virtual wearables on the blockchain. The brand's inaugural NFT wearables collection can be found within a new Virtual Gear product category and there are limited pieces that are being released as NFTs. This new collection comes straight from the /// Studio (Three Stripes Studio) and it explores the intersection of the past and future, as well as physical and virtual realms.
Each of the pieces has been made to be sported by avatars and the designs have been mindfully made to be "ready for all frontiers of Web3." The disruptive digital designs include the Space Crystal hoodie with the Adidas logo and a reflective red and green Personal Flotation Device puffer coat.
