Unsuccesful Viral Video Banning

Crazy Cruise on Scientology

In the eight minute video that has bloggers buzzing, Tom Cruise shares his views as a Scientologist.

"We're the authorities on getting people off drugs. We're the authorities on the mind. We're the authorities on improving conditions," he continues.

"We can rehabilitate criminals. Way to happiness. We can bring peace and unite cultures."

This four year old video's surfacing coincides with the release of a new book “Tom Cruise: An Unauthorised Biography” by Andrew Morton, who also uses the book as a platform to defame Scientology.

But let's hear more from Tom.

"Being a Scientologist, you look at someone, and you know absolutely that you can help them. When you drive past an accident, it's not like anyone else; as you drive past, you know you have to do something about it, because you know you're the only one that can really help."

The video keeps getting pulled off YouTube, likely due to threats from the Church of Scientology, but gawker.com is sticking with it.
